What's new?
Many changes will happen during the next month. We will introduce two new business courses mainly for our distance learning market but also available for centres. We have just had our first ASET awarding body audit which went well. Our courses are amongst the best and the resources offered second to none.

We're still expanding
We now have nearly 50 centres worldwide and on average we have two new ones each month, in April so far a new centre in the UAE, Ireland and London.

During this year we will expand on the number of courses we are offering in our main specialist subjects which are travel, tourism, hospitality and business.
We are also increasing our already large volume of resources available for students and teachers. If you would like to become a centre please contact us.

Become a member of ATHE
You are invited to become a member of the Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives.
Membership of the ATHE is awarded in recognition of academic achievement and working experience. Individuals wishing to qualify for membership may apply to become Registered Students and study the ATHE academic syllabus, which covers a wide range of travel, tourism and Hospitality topics.

Those individuals who have achieved a qualification with another recognised awarding body or professional body, may apply for membership by exemption.Those individuals who do not possess any formal qualification but who are able to demonstrate experience and understanding of the profession may also apply for membership.

Distance Learning
We are now looking to increase the number of distance courses we have. We expect to start this major expansion programme in April and at least two courses a month will be introduced. These will be based on the Certified Development Programme, a series of short courses covering Business, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality.

We will also be offering two new ASET courses - Introduction to Business and Success in Self Employment.

Resources
Our resources will be redesigned during the coming months starting soon. New sections will be added and of course others will be deleted in particular some case studies. Subscriptions is available to schools and colleges in the UK for £149.50, in fact the same as it has been for the last two years. We expect to complete the revamp etc by the Summer and will re launch to schools/colleges with new courses at the start of the new academic year. The new format will also include new BTEC courses.
